The website for published author and Head of Global Publishing Jon Malysiak was redesigned to create a clear, confident digital platform that reflects both his professional career and his body of work.

The previous online presence did not fully showcase the breadth of Jon’s experience across publishing, nor did it provide a cohesive space to present his books, projects and professional background. A key objective of the redesign was to bring these elements together into a single, well-structured website that communicates credibility, clarity and authority within the publishing industry.

The new website focuses on simplicity, restraint and clarity. Content was carefully structured to highlight Jon’s career, published works and ongoing projects without distraction, allowing visitors to quickly understand his background and areas of expertise. Navigation and page layouts were kept deliberately clean and intuitive, ensuring an effortless browsing experience across all devices.

Light branding was developed specifically for the website, centred around a black-and-white colour palette and considered typographic choices. This minimal approach reinforces the written word as the focal point, while giving the site a timeless, editorial feel that aligns naturally with the publishing world.

Original photography was also produced for the project, creating a set of professional portraits used throughout the site. These images add a personal dimension to the website, helping to balance the professional tone with a human presence and reinforcing trust and authenticity.

The result is a refined, understated website that presents Jon Malysiak’s career and work with clarity and confidence — providing a strong, professional platform that supports both his publishing leadership role and his identity as an author.
