The Oundle Hockey Club website was redesigned to create a stronger, more engaging digital presence that better reflects the club’s identity, community, and competitive spirit.

The previous site had limited visual impact and offered little sense of the people behind the club. A key objective of the redesign was to put players, teams and match activity at the heart of the experience, while making information such as fixtures, results, training details and club news easier to access for players, supporters and prospective members.

The new website focuses on clarity, energy and personality. The structure was simplified to create a clear navigation system, allowing users to quickly find team information, match content and club updates. Strong visual hierarchy and consistent layouts help guide users through the site, while ensuring it remains easy to update and manage over time.

Photography played a central role in the project. Custom player headshots were created for individual profile pages, alongside dynamic match photography that brings the club’s on-pitch action and atmosphere to life. This imagery helps humanise the club, strengthen team identity, and create a more professional and cohesive look across both the website and social channels.

Alongside the website redesign, ongoing social media management and graphic design were used to reinforce the club’s visual identity. Matchday graphics, announcements and branded content were designed to maintain consistency across platforms, improve engagement, and present the club in a confident, modern way.

The result is a bold, people-focused digital presence that supports the club on and off the pitch — combining clear information, strong visual storytelling and consistent branding to better serve players, supporters and the wider hockey community.
